Growing up, my parents always taught me the importance of giving back to your community and doing what you can to help to make things better in your neighborhood.  Back then, that meant volunteering at Mt. Carmel on Thanksgiving, doing a read-a-thon for the MS Society, or inviting an elderly neighbor for dinner.

Little did I know, my family was teaching me what government is all about.  It is a coming together of a community to make the lives of its members better.  Whether it’s keeping a city safe, collecting trash, and maintaining roads or protecting freedoms, caring for our seniors, and defending our country, different levels of government all share this goal of providing people with the tools they need to make their own lives better.

That’s why I serve as supervisor and why I am running for re-election.  I want to give back to the community that has given me so much, to make our lives, our businesses, and our communities a great place to live.  Gloversville and Fulton County are home to wonderful people, a rich history, and world-class opportunities to experience that great outdoors.  Serving as supervisor is my way to respect these traditions and make sure they continue for years to come.
